Trinidad and Tobago Weather: Chance of thundershowers in South, West

Here’s a look at today’s weather, courtesy the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service:

Today, partly cloudy spells accompanied by occasional light to moderate showers are expected to interrupt an otherwise sunny day.

There is the small to medium chance of a few showers become heavy and thundery in a few areas but, mainly nearer southern and western Trinidad.

The night is expected to be partly cloudy with occasional light to moderate showers.

According to a post on the Met Office’s Facebook page, the next tropical wave is expected to affect T&T mainly on Tuesday 9 July, with the likelihood of rainfall and thunderstorms from early morning.

Seas are moderate with waves between 1.5 metres to 2 metres in open waters and near calm in sheltered areas.
