Trinidad and Tobago Weather: Heavy showers expected

Here's a look at today's weather, courtesy the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service:
Cloudy periods are expected to interrupt sunshine with intervals of light to moderate showers or rain. There is the 60-70% (medium to high) chance of heavier showers or thunderstorm activity. Conditions would gradually settle from late afternoon into the evening, giving way to a mostly fair night despite a few showers.
Street/Flash flooding is likely in heavy downpours and in the event of a thunderstorm, gusty winds can be expected. Adverse Weather Alert #1 Yellow Level is in effect.
Seas are slight to moderate with waves 1 metre to 2 metres in open waters and below 1 metre in sheltered areas.
