Trinidad and Tobago Weather: Hot, sunny and hazy with light showers

Trinidad and Tobago and the remainder of the Lesser Antilles will be hot, sunny and hazy today despite a few light to moderate showers occurring in few areas.

There is a 40 percent (medium) chance of a few heavy showers or thunderstorms during the afternoon especially over western coastal areas of Trinidad. Tonight, a few light showers are expected at first but will dissipate by midnight to give a fair night.

Street/flash flooding is likely in heavy downpours and in the event of a thunderstorm, gusty winds can be expected.
