Here's a look at today's weather, courtesy the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service.
Trinidad and Tobago
Generally hot and sunny conditions will be interrupted by cloudy periods with light to moderate showers in few locations. There is the 30- 40% (low to medium) chance of the heavier shower or thunderstorm activity favouring Western and Southern parts of Trinidad. Night time will be mostly clear despite the odd shower. Street flooding and gusty winds are likely near heavy downpours/thunderstorms.
Seas are moderate with waves up to 2.5 metres in open waters and below one metre but occasionally choppy in sheltered areas.
Long period swells are affecting northern and sheltered coastlines of Trinidad and Tobago. All persons with marine interests in these areas should observe caution. For details, visit https://www.metoffice.gov.tt/early warning for Hazardous Seas Alert#1 – Yellow Level.
