Trinidad and Tobago’s weather: Cloudy, 80% chance of heavy showers

Here’s a look at the weather courtesy the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS).

Today, cloudy spells with intermittent showers in varying localities mostly during the morning, are expected. There is the 80% chance that a few showers will become heavy and thundery in a few areas. Gradual improvement is expected during the afternoon. Tonight will be clear at first with a few showers developing after midnight. Gusty winds, street and flash flooding may occur in heavy showers and thunderstorms.

Seas: Moderate in the Windwards but Rough in the Leewards.

Waves: up to 2.5m in the Windwards but above 3.0m in the Leewards in open waters

1.0m in sheltered areas
