Trinidad and Tobago’s weather: High chance of showers
The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service is warning of heavy showers and thundershowers in some areas today.
Here’s a look at today’s weather:
Sunny morning with showers developing by early afternoon. There is the medium to high chance (60-70 per cent) of heavy afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
Improvement in conditions is expected by evening to give a mostly settled night.
Gusty winds and street/flash flooding are likely in areas of heavy showers or thunderstorms.
Tobago and the Remainder of the Lesser Antilles
Predominantly sunny conditions will be interrupted by a few brief light to moderate showers. Generally fair night.
Seas are moderate with waves up to two metres in open waters and less than one metre in sheltered areas.
