Trinidad and Tobago's weather: Light to moderate showers
Trinidadians can look forward to cooler conditions due to light to moderate showers in various locations, however the public is advised to keep an eye out for flash flooding during any heavy downpours.
Here’s a look at today’s weather courtesy the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service:
Partly cloudy to cloudy and occasionally overcast periods with light to moderate showers over varying areas can be expected.
Some of these showers can become heavy and accompanied by gusty winds in few areas mainly during the afternoon. Conditions will linger into the night.
Caution: Street/flash flooding and gusty winds are likely in heavy downpours.

Generally sunny and breezy conditions can be expected despite brief showery intervals. Nighttime will be mostly settled with the odd brisk shower.

Strong low level winds are agitating sea conditions with waves reaching up to 3.5 m in open waters (based on official reports). Rough sea conditions are expected to continue until Wednesday 15th January 2020.
Monitor sea conditions. Exercise caution in coastal and offshore waters. Avoid entering the sea if unnecessary. Be alert for large waves and dangerous currents. Follow the instructions of lifeguards.
