Trinidad and Tobago's weather: Low to medium chance of showers

The public is advised of a low chance of showers in a few areas, according to a report from the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service at 5:54 am.

Trinidad, Tobago and the remainder of the Lesser Antilles
Hot and sunny conditions over most areas with one or two early morning and afternoon showers in a few areas. There is the 30-40% (low to medium) chance of the odd heavy shower or thunderstorm favouring western areas of Trinidad during the early to mid-afternoon. Tonight will be clear and warm.
Caution: Gusty winds, street and flash flooding may occur in heavy showers and thunderstorms.

Seas are slight with waves up to 1.4 metres in open waters and near calm in sheltered areas.
