Trinidad and Tobago's weather: Medium chance of showers

Here’s a look at today’s weather courtesy the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service:
Trinidad, Tobago and the Windward Islands
A generally sunny and hazy day despite the 40-60% (medium) chance of showery interruptions. There is the 20% (low) chance of heavier showers or thunderstorm activity favoring western Trinidad during the late morning to afternoon period.
Conditions would gradually settle from late afternoon into the evening with a few lingering showers into the night.
The Met Office said in an update Friday that Saharan dust was present in the atmosphere on Friday but would decrease as the weekend progresses.
The remainder of the Lesser Antilles
Generally sunny despite a few partly cloudy spells with the chance of a few brief showers. Nighttime will be mostly fair despite the odd shower.
Caution: Street/flash flooding is likely in heavy downpours and in the event of a thunderstorm, gusty winds can be expected.

Seas are slight to moderate with waves from one to 1.5 metres in open waters and near calm in sheltered areas.
