Trinidad and Tobago's weather: More scattered showers

Some citizens awoke to a rainy start after early morning showers were reported over parts of Trinidad and Tobago between Sunday night and Monday morning.
An adverse weather alert was issued on Sunday, warning of intermittent showers and thunderstorms over Tobago and to a lesser extent Northern Trinidad from early morning until midday on Monday 15th July 2019.
The Met Office warned of possible street/flash flooding, landslides/landslips and gusty winds.
Here’s a look at today’s weather, courtesy the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service:
Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected with intervals of light to moderate showers or rain occurring in varying localities.
There is a 60% (medium) chance of heavy showers and thunderstorms favouring Tobago and northern Trinidad.
Improvement is expected by late afternoon.
Tonight will be settled with a few lingering showers. Gusty winds, street/flash flooding is likely in areas of heavy showers and thunderstorms. Adverse Weather Alert #1 – Yellow Level in effect.
For the remainder of the Lesser Antilles
Sunny, hazy and breezy conditions are expected despite a few brisk showers at times. Night will be clear with a light breeze.
