Trinidad and Tobago's weather: Scattered showers

Here’s a look at today’s weather courtesy the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service:

Trinidad and Tobago

Generally hot and sunny, but with a few partly cloudy to cloudy periods during the late morning/ early afternoon with isolated showers and the low to medium chance of the thunderstorm mainly in western parts.

This evening and tonight will be mostly fair.

Caution: Gusty winds, street and/or flash flooding may occur in areas under heavy showers and thunderstorms.


The Northern Leewards

Fair to partly cloudy at first but becoming increasingly cloudy as the day progresses with showers and possible thunderstorms during the afternoon, which can persist into the night time.


The Remainder of the Lesser Antilles

Mainly hot and sunny day and a fair night despite the isolated shower.

Tobago: 32’C



Seas are slight to moderate with waves up to 1.5 metres but between two to 2.5 metres in the Leewards in open waters and less than one metre but choppy at times in sheltered areas.

Caution: Northerly long period swells can agitate sea conditions along the Northern and Western coastlines.
