Trinidad and Tobago's weather: Scattered showers

Watch out for scattered showers and the odd thundershower, says the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service.

Here’s a look at today’s weather:

Trinidad, Tobago and the remainder of the Lesser Antilles

Mostly sunny but becoming partly cloudy by late morning with showers occurring in few areas.

There is also a 40 percent (medium) chance of a few heavy showers or thunderstorms favouring Trinidad and to a lesser extent Tobago.

Tonight will be settled with a few lingering showers.

Gusty winds and street flooding may occur in the vicinity of heavy showers or thunderstorms.

Seas are slight to moderate with waves between one metre and 1.5 metres in open waters and near calm in sheltered areas
