As Trinidad and Tobago prepare for the passage of Tropical Storm Bret, some popular businesses have indicated that they will be closing early.
In a statement, KFC said all its restaurants will be closing at 8 pm tonight to ensure their employees are safe.
"We will endeavour to open at 10 am on Tuesday 20, June 2017. However, we are likely to have disruptions based on the event of the Tropical Storm," the restaurant advised.
KFC's sister company, Pizza Hut, is also closing early.
"Given the current Tropical Storm Warning due to the Potential Tropical Cyclone Two, please note that ALL Pizza Hut locations in Trinidad and Tobago will be closed at 8pm TONIGHT (Monday 19th June, 2017.) We resume operations as usual on Tuesday 20, June, 2017 at 10am unless otherwise stated. We encourage all staff, stakeholders and customers to please be safe. See an attached list of local shelters," the company posted on its Facebook page.
MovieTowne also said it is closing early.
In a tweet, the multiplex said it will be closing at 6 pm.
