T&T Express back in service after electrical problems

The T&T Express returns to service today, following electrical problems experienced on Tuesday which forced the cancellation of its sailing to Trinidad on Wednesday.
The vessel developed electrical problems upon its arrival into Scarborough, which prevented its timely berthing.
The inter-island service resumed on Thursday following the completion of repair works, with an 8.30 am sailing from Tobago and a 2pm sailing from Port-of-Spain scheduled for 2.00 pm.
The Trinidad and Tobago Inter-island Transportation Company Limited (TTIT) apologised for the occurrence and advised that the normal schedule will resume on Friday from Tobago at 6.30 am and from Port-of-Spain at 2 pm.
The dedicated cargo vessel, the M.V Cabo Star will maintain its daily schedule from Port-of-Spain at 2 pm and from Tobago at 11 pm.
