Harriet Cross has been appointed British High Commissioner to Trinidad and Tobago.
She’ll be replacing Tim Stew, who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment.
Cross will take up her appointment during July 2020.
Harriet Cross has had a lengthy career in diplomacy.
She currently serves as the Consul-General in Boston. She’s also done work in Yemen after serving in International Relations at the University of York. In 2007, she was the First Secretary of Human Rights and Head of Communications in the UK Permanent Mission to the United Nations an office she took after serving well in other, similar capacities.
