T&T Men’s Sprint team grabs gold at Pan American Games in Peru

The Trinidad and Tobago Men’s Sprint team grabbed gold at the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru on Thursday night.

The team of Njisane Phillip, Nicholas Paul and Keron Bramble took on Colombia at the Sprint Final in an intense race, with an impressive finishing time of 43.972 seconds.

Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley, in a Facebook post on Friday congratulated the team.

“Congratulations to Team Trinidad and Tobago on winning Gold in the Men’s Team Sprint at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. The trio won of Keron Bramble, Nicholas Paul and Njisane Philip, pedalled to victory with a time of 43.927 seconds,” he wrote.
