TTPost employee tests positive for COVID-19
An employee with the Trinidad and Tobago Postal Corporation (TTPost) has tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Confirmation came from TTPost on Wednesday, as it advised that its Piarco Head Office, the National Mail Centre, would be closed for sanitisation on Thursday.
The delivery of polling cards will not be affected by this closure.
Further, TTPost said all offices will continue to provide services uninterrupted, including deliveries, pension, social welfare and cheques issued by the National Insurance Board of Trinidad and Tobago.
Regular operations of all divisions, excluding the Finance Department, is expected on Friday.
Customers are assured that all safety protocols as outlined by the Ministry of Health to limit the spread of the virus are being adhered to.
