TTPSSWA, ISOS Secretariat partner for Bahamas, local disaster relief

The Police Service Social Welfare Association (TTPSSWA) has collaborated with the I Support Our Service (ISOS) Secretariat to provide disaster relief to police officers in Trinidad and Tobago as well as the Bahamas.

This will take place under the patronage of Police Commissioner Gary Griffith.


- ISOS Secretariat, 2nd Floor, Police Administration Building, Corner Edward and Sackville Streets, Port of Spain;

- TTPSSWA Office, 4th Floor, Riverside Plaza, Port of Spain;

- All Police Divisional Headquarters, which are the main stations in your respective districts.

1 Chaguanas;

2 Morvant;

3 Siparia;

4 Police Administration Building, Port of Spain;

5 San Fernando;

6 St James;

7 Scarborough, Tobago;

8 St Joseph;

9 Sangre Grande; and

10 Central Police Station, Port of Spain (Old Police HQ)


1 Bottled water

2 Non-perishable food items - Please check the dates on the items and ensure they have not expired.

3 New or gently-used clothing - Not clothing that you would not consider wearing. If possible, divide clothing by gender and ages by labelling the bags in which they are brought. Ensure all clothes are laundered before being donated.

4 Baby items - These can include canned baby formula, clothes, diapers (disposable and non-disposable), baby bottles and nipples and baby wipes in sealed packages.

5 Cleaning supplies - Mops, brooms, disinfectants (household and external), buckets and cleaning cloths like J-Cloths, etc.

6 Toiletries - Sanitary pads and tampons, toilet paper, bath soap, towels, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes, etc.

7 Flashlights - These should include the necessary batteries for the flashlights, inclusive of matches or lighters.

The TTPS will be moving the items to their respective destination through the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM).
