Lisa Wickham will continue to produce the NOW morning programme and will do a comprehensive hand over to Head of Radio Programming, Gail Seegobin until the TTT Board recruits a new CEO.

TTT is in the process of recruiting a new substantive CEO as Lisa Wickham, who took up the role in February this year, has handed over the position to Head of Radio Programming, Gail Seegobin.

In an internal memo signed by Chairman Lisa Agard advising of the leadership change, staff were informed that Wickham will “no longer act in that capacity”.

Seegobin takes up the position effective October 4.

The memo further advised that Wickham will continue to produce the NOW morning programme and will do a comprehensive hand over to Seegobin.

The Board, which is in the process of trying to recruit a substantive CEO promised to update staff as soon as a suitable candidate for the position is found.

Thanking the outgoing CEO for her efforts and wishing her well in her future endeavours, the TTT Board asked for staff’s support for the interim CEO.

The TTT Board also noted the need to “wholeheartedly embrace the digital environment and recognise how customers consume news and entertainment” as the State media enters the new financial year.
