Two held after drugs, guns found in car following accident

Two men are currently in police custody after they were held with a large quantity of marijuana and three firearms on Monday night.

According to police, the discovery was made along Woodland Avenue, Woodland.

The bust was made by a team of officers from the San Fernando Police Station who were responding to a report of an accident along the roadway.

While the officers were talking to the two men said to be from Valsayn and El Socorro, they found that the duo was acting in a suspicious manner.

As a result, the responding officers searched the vehicle and discovered three loaded handguns as well as what appeared to be over 100 packets of compressed marijuana.

The drugs were seized and the two suspects were taken into custody.
