Two held in connection with theft of Khamal Georges' car

Two men have been held in connection with the theft of the Kia Sportage motor vehicle belonging to CNC3 journalist Khamal Georges.

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service said the men were held around midnight on Friday.

A cell phone belonging to the victim was recovered.

The vehicle, which was again stolen from the Besson Street Police Station after it was initially recovered, has already been returned to Georges.

Georges was robbed at gunpoint by bandits in the early hours of Thursday morning. They took his cell phone, cash and vehicle.
