Two men have been arrested and a quantity of marijuana seized by officers of the La Brea Police Station during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the district.
Officers were carrying out a roadblock exercise along the Southern Main Road, Rousillac, around 1:30 pm on Sunday during which they had cause to stop and search a silver Nissan Tiida motor vehicle, with two male occupants.
The search resulted in 2.1 kilogrammes of marijuana being found in a black plastic bag on the floor of the vehicle.
The drug has an estimated street value of $21,000.
The two suspects; a 24-year-old of San Juan and a 22-year-old of Aranguez, were arrested in connection with the find.
