Two men gunned down during wake in Arouca
It was only a few hours after an earthquake shook Trinidad and Tobago that a gunman executed two men in Arouca on Tuesday evening.
The victims have been identified as 27-year-old Anderson Forbes of Siskin Drive, Kiskadee Crescent, Bon Air Gardens and 32-year-old Anderson James also known as 'Rodney' of Kiskadee Crescent, Arouca.
According to reports, both men attended the wake of their murdered friend Ronald Mackie who was shot and killed early on Tuesday morning.
Police say around 9:15 pm, the men were seated in a parked Nissan Tiida when a gunman approached and fired several shots at them.
The suspect then escaped.
Neighbours reportedly ran to their assistance and took them to the hospital.
Forbes died at the Mount Hope Hospital around 9:55 pm while James died around 11:45 pm.
Investigations into the murders are ongoing.
