Two officers shot at in separate incidents in Valencia and Maloney

A police officer attached to the Anti-Corruption Bureau was shot at following an argument near his Valencia home on Monday.

Sources say sometime yesterday, Special Reserve Police Constable Burns got into an argument with his neighbour over squatting land.

A short while after the incident, a gunman appeared and shot at the police officer, who escaped unharmed. The shooter fled the scene.

Police say they have no suspect in custody.

Meanwhile, the home of a Special Reserve Officer was shot at in Maloney on Monday.

According to reports, PC Stephen Samuel was asleep when he reportedly heard gunshots.

Upon checking, he discovered that two window panes were shattered.
