Two priority offenders held in Tobago

Two priority offenders were arrested in anti-crime exercises in Tobago on Sunday.

The suspects, age 22 and 27, were held in the Scarborough district.

According to police reports, officers were searching for four men near an area where they are known to frequent.

This led to the search of several vehicles and the arrest of two men.

The 22-year-old labourer of Union Village was held for possession of marijuana.

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old of Calder Hall was arrested on inquiries relative to a report of rape.

PC Balfour is continuing inquiries into that incident.
