Unhappy customer damages glass at bank

Police are investigating a report of malicious damage, after an irate customer allegedly punched and damaged a glass panel at the Republic Bank Branch along Murray Street, Woodbrook.

The incident took place around 11 am on Friday.

According to police reports, a customer was unhappy following an interaction at the bank, and began to act in an irate manner.

Upon leaving the bank, he allegedly punched the glass, causing significant damage.

From initial estimates, the damages sustained was said to be an estimated $6,480.

The customer fled the scene, and the police were notified.
