US passenger sues CAL after attendant allegedly pushes cart into arm

An American woman is suing Caribbean Airlines Limited (CAL), claiming a flight attendant pushed a food serving cart into her arm causing injuries on a flight from New York to Jamaica in June 2017.

According to court documents, Julie Smith has filed a federal lawsuit against the airline.

Smith was travelling to Jamaica on Caribbean Airlines Flight # BW0016 from John F. Kennedy Airport in New York City when the incident allegedly occurred.

During the flight, she was seated in an aisle seat, with her arm resting on the armrest adjacent to the aisle.

A flight attendant allegedly pushed a food serving cart into her arm, striking her elbow.

Smith reportedly suffered personal injuries as a result of the incident.

She is demanding judgement against Caribbean Airlines for damages and cost.
