The University of the West Indies is cancelling all classes tomorrow.
The UWI said in a release that subsequent to the initial communique issued on media platforms earlier today, the decision has been taken to close the campus tomorrow, Monday, September 23 due to the Riverine Flood Warning issued by the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service.
Critical essential services will be maintained on the Campus, inclusive of the Occupational, Health, Safety and the Environment (OSHE) Unit, Estate Police, and the Division of Faculties Management (DFM).
Staff attached to these departments will be expected to report for duty.
