Vehicle recovered after stolen from elderly man at gunpoint

GPS technology has aided police in the immediate recovery of a vehicle shortly after it was reported stolen at gunpoint.
According to reports, around 1.50 am on Saturday, a 69-year-old man drove his silver Toyota Aqua vehicle, valued at $86,000 into the driveway of his Calvary Hill, San Juan home, when he was approached by two men.
The men were both armed with firearms and announced a hold up.
They pulled the elderly man out of the vehicle and entered the car.
The suspects then made good their escape.
The police were notified and the vehicle was traced via its on-board GPS.
The vehicle was later found abandoned along Saddle Road, San Juan.
No suspects were observed interacting with the car.
As a result, the vehicle was seized.
It was said to be intact and was to be examined by crime scene investigators before being returned to the owners.
