Venezuelan, Colombian in court for marijuana trafficking

Three people, including a Venezuelan and a Colombian national are expected to appear in court today, charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
Venezuelan national Andy Ali Gonzales, 55, Colombian national Freddie Rosa, 25, and Trinidadian Denesh Rampersad were arrested and charged by officers of the Special Crimes Unit during a police exercise in the Central Division on Thursday.
According to police reports, the three men were held with 16 grammes of high grade California Gold marijuana, which has an estimated street value of $1600.
Meanwhile, acting on information received, the officers went to Bynoe Trace, Enterprise, where they found a 357 Magnum revolver in some bushes. No one was arrested.
