Vincentian national gunned down in Dow Village

A St Vincent national was gunned down in Dow Village, California, last night.

The deceased has been identified as Eric “Vincy” Harry.

According to police reports, Harry was standing along the roadway near Moonsammy Street, Dow Village, when a vehicle pulled alongside him.

Several loud explosions were heard and the vehicle sped away.

Harry, police said, was shot several times about the body and died at the scene.

The police were notified and the area was cordoned off.

Several spent shells were said to have been recovered on location.

Harry’s body was viewed by a district medical officer who then ordered its removal to the Forensic Science Centre in St James.

An autopsy is expected to be performed tomorrow.
