Warrants issued for arrest of dad, sons in car larceny ring

Warrants have been issued for the arrest of a father and his two sons after four stolen vehicles were recovered at their home on Thursday.

The three men are said to be “well known” to the officers and an arrest is said to be imminent.

According to police reports, following multiple reports of larcenies of motor vehicles in the Northern Division, a team of officers from the Special Investigations Unit, led by Inspector Robert Joseph, conducted a raid at a garage in Valencia on Wednesday afternoon.

The suspects, on seeing the lawmen, fled the scene.

However, the garage was searched and the officers allegedly found and seized four stolen vehicles – two of which were reported as stolen within the last seven days in the Northern Division.

Warrants have since been drafted for the immediate arrests of the three men.

More on this as it becomes available.
