WASA advises of supply disruption in St. James, environs

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising customers in St. James and environs that there will be an interruption in their pipe borne water supply on Friday between 6 am and 6 pm.

WASA says this has become necessary in order to facilitate pipeline diversion and interconnection works at Serpentine Road, St. Clair.

Areas to be affected include St. James, Long Circular Road, Rosslands, Dundonald Hill, Belle Vue Road, Dibe Road, Breives Road, Parts of St. Clair, Ellersie Park, Federation Park, Bournes Road and Fort George Road.

Customers are further advised that following the completion of these works, it may take 6 to 8 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas.

For further information or assistance, customers can contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll free at 800-4420/4426.
