WASA advises of water disruptions to parts of central Trinidad

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) advises customers in parts of Central Trinidad, served by the Freeport Water Treatment Plant, who have been experiencing a disruption in their water supply, that this is due to an unforeseen delay in the completion of pipeline relocation works at the Freeport Todds Road Bridge B1/1, which commenced on Wednesday June 20, 2018.

The ongoing work at the site is now expected to be completed by 2 pm today – Thursday, June 21, 2018.

Affected areas include:

Calcutta Nos. 1, 2 and 3                            

Cotton Hill

Chickland                                                     

School Trace

Sapathay                                                       

Pepper Village

Mayo                                                             

Mayo Road

La Vega

Central Park                                                 

Lower Couva                                                

Siewdass Road

Caratal #1                                                     

Preysal
