WASA announces supply disruption to South-West, Trinidad

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising customers in parts of South-West Trinidad that there will be an interruption in their pipe borne water supply on Thursday between the hours of 7:00 am and 11:00 pm.

WASA said this has become necessary in order to facilitate pipeline interconnection works along the South Trunk Road, La Romaine, in the vicinity of Mosquito Creek.

Areas to be affected include:

South Oropouche,


Dow Village,




Syne Village,

along San Francique Road from LP 119 – 160,

along Pluck Road from Tenant Trace Junction to Timital Junction,

De Gannes Village,

Quarry Village,

La Brea Trace,

San Francique,

along Rock Road from Penal Junction to Debidial Junction,

Katwaroo Trace,

Sunress Road,

Charlo Village,

along the S.S. Erin Road from Penal Water Treatment Plant to San Francique

The authority said it may take up to 24 hours for the scheduled pipe borne water supply to normalize to some affected areas following completion of the pipeline works.
