WASA announces water service disruption for South Trinidad

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) advises customers in parts of South Trinidad served by the San Fernando Booster Station that there will be an interruption in their water supply on Tuesday 27 November 2018 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

This disruption has become necessary to facilitate mechanical repair work at the station.

Areas to be affected include:

Palmiste

Bel Air                                    

 Sunkist Development

Green Acres                           

Esperance

La Romain                             

Debe

Woodland                             

Penal (up to Penal Water treatment Plant)

San Francique                        

Siparia

Avocat                                    

Quarry Village

South Oropouche                 

Cocoyea

Union Hall                             

Pleasantville

Vistabella                              

Marabella

San Fernando

WASA is advising customers to manage their water use efficiently, as it may take between 8 to 12 hours for the service to normalise to some areas, in accordance with established pipe-borne water supply schedules.
