WASA assures Morvant residents of works to restore supply disruption

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising customers in parts of Morvant served by the Lady Young Booster Station that the ongoing disruption in their water supply is due to mechanical problems which occurred at the station on Sunday.

The Authority says it is assessing the extent of the repair works required to return the facility to normal operation and will provide a later update on the expected timeframe for the completion of the repairs.

Affected areas include:

Lady Young Avenue

Lady Young Road

Morvant Avenue

2nd Caledonia Ext

Coconut Drive

Never Dirty

Mon Repos

Romain Lands

Chinapoo Road

Stephenville Road

Pelican Ext

Paradise Heights

Customers are further advised that it may take 12 to 24 hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas following the completion of these works.
