WASA carries out repairs to broken pipeline near Glencoe

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) said work is being carried out to repair a broken pipeline along the Western Main Road, Glencoe.

In a statement today WASA said it’s repairing a broken 10-inch diameter pipeline as part of emergency repairs, which are expected to be completed by 6am Friday.

The company said affected areas include the Western Main Road from the intersection of Morne Coco Road to La Horquette Valley Road, Goodwood Park and environs and Bayshore and environs.

WASA said customers may need up to 24 hours before pipeborne water supply is normalised, following the completion of repairs.

The company said a limited truck-borne water service is available with priority being given to special needs facilities and health care institutions.

The company apologised for any inconvenience.
