WASA employee in PoS crash suffered seizure

A Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) employee involved in an accident along South Quay on Thursday morning suffered a seizure, causing the crash.

David George was driving a WASA van around 7 am when he got a seizure causing his foot to hit the acceleration and crash into a vehicle in front of him.

Two other vehicles were also impacted in this incident.

Thankfully no serious injuries were reported.

George was taken for medical treatment by fire service officers who responded to the four-car smash up.

The accident resulted in gridlock traffic in and out of the capital city for most of the morning.
