WASA warns residents of South East Trinidad of upcoming disruption

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising customers in parts of South East Trinidad that there would be an interruption in their pipe borne water supply on Thursday between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm.

WASA said this has become necessary to facilitate emergency repairs to a defective 16-inch diameter valve at the corner Downing Trace and Sixth Company Circular Road, New Grant.

Areas to be affected include:

New Grant

Sixth Company Village

Fairfield Housing Development

Hindustan

Petite Café

St Julien Village

Matilda

Craignish

Indian Walk

St Mary’s Village

Cunjal

Fifth Company

Realize Road

Samuel Cooper

Cumuto

Madingo

Moruga Road

Burton Trace

Rochard Douglas Road

Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas in accordance with pipe-borne water supply schedules.
