WASA warns South West customers of supply disruption

The Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) is advising customers in parts of South West Trinidad served by the Granville Water Treatment Plant that mechanical problems at the facility are the source of the disruption in their supply.
WASA said the challenges developed on Wednesday adding that emergency repair works are underway and expected to be completed by 8 am on Thursday.

Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas in accordance with pipe-borne water supply schedules.
