WASA: Water disruptions in Central Trinidad

Residents in parts of Central Trinidad may experience water supply disruptions on Tuesday due to pipeline interconnection works.

The Water and Sewerage Authority said in a statement issued Monday that customers there would be an interruption in pipe-borne water supply on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 9.00 p.m.

This has become necessary in order to facilitate pipeline interconnection works at the B1/1 Bridge, Marchin Road, Caroni.

Areas to be affected include: Charlieville (East), Caroni Savannah Road (from the Gas Station to Sumarie Trace), Pierre Road (inclusive of all side streets) and Felicity.

Motorists are asked to proceed with caution and to obey the instructions of the police officers on duty, as only single-lane traffic will be allowed in the vicinity of the job-site.

For further information or assistance, customers can contact WASA’s Customer Call Centre toll-free at 800-4420/4426.

The Authority apologised for the inconvenience and thanked customers for their patience and understanding.
