WATCH: BP Renegades maintains lead going into Panorama final
Pan Trinbago made good on its promise to end Panorama semis earlier than last year.
Unlike 2017 when the competition ended in the early hours of Monday morning, Sunday night's event ended around midnight with results surfacing less than an hour after.
Pan Trinbago President Keith Diaz said all bands cooperated with Pan Trinbago when asked to work with them on time management on the day. The 28 bands, 14 medium, 14 large, flowed smoothly with each setting up in a timely fashion.
It was a double win for Duvone Stewart as the bands he arranged for amassed the most points in both the medium and large categories.
Stewart took Pan Elders (defending champions Medium Band) to the stellar position with his arrangement of Samuel “Brigo” Abraham’s “Limbo Break” with 279 points.
BP Renegades performing Aaron "Voice" St. Louis' “Year For Love” got the judges’ nod amassing 282 points, four more than their closest rival, Desperadoes, playing the same selection.
The bands that will proceed to the grand finals on Saturday, January 2018 at the “Mecca of Pan” are:
