Buju Banton is here.

The Jamaican singer arrived in Trinidad just before 4 pm on Good Friday.

He flew in on a private jet at the old Piarco terminal.

Banton, real name Mark Myrie, was greeted by the management of High Frequency Entertainment, promoters of the I Am Legend show, dancers and drummers.

Workers at the airport also gathered, phones poised to capture video and photos as the lanky singer emerged, all smiles.

He paused briefly to pose for a photo for the media gathered before moving swiftly to the vehicles waiting to whisk him away.

Loop understands Banton was taken directly to the Queen's Park Savannah to check out the set up for his big show on Sunday night.

I Am Legend will also feature rising Jamaican star Koffee, Luciano, Singing Melody, Lust, Kes the Band, Ziggy Ranking, Isasha and Ataklan.

Gates open at 3 pm.
