Watch: Bystanders shocked by swarm of fighting students in POS

Citizens expressed shock at a recent viral video showing crowds of students fighting and climbing onto cars in the heart of Port of Spain.

The video, which was shared to social media on Friday, showed large crowds of students in uniform swarming along Park Street in Port of Spain, some of whom appeared to be fighting.

It is alleged that the incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon.

Persons were heard commenting in shock on the behaviour of the students.

"That should not be happening, what is wrong with these young girls?" One bystander was heard saying.

"Real madness...I shame, that's the school I used to go to," said another.

Victoria Rampersad:

“These are the ones who are supposed to steer our future. What will become of our society when we are long gone?”

Ambika L-Samlalsingh:

“Madness… Bring back discipline in schools...It didn't kill us before, why would it kill them now...We need more police presence on the streets especially after school hours.”

Abigail DE Freitss:

"That is exactly what is happening no discipline so let the lawlessness continue and the country want to why there is so much crime in this country."
