WATCH: Danish thief nabs world's most expensive vodka

The world's most expensive bottle of vodka, which is worth a whopping $1.3m, has been stolen from a bar in Denmark.

CCTV from Cafe 33 in Copenhagen shows the moment the diamond encrusted bottle was nabbed from the shelf by the audacious thief.

It is understood the booze, held in a gold and silver container, was once used in hit Netflix show House of Cards.

Bar owner Brian Ingberg told the local press the pricey alcohol was on loan to him from Dartz Motorz.

In the clip, an intruder can be seen grabbing the Russo-Baltique vodka before fleeing the pub.

Danish police are said to be still investigating the theft which happened in the early hours of Tuesday.

The bottle is covered with leather and has a replica of the radiator guard used for Russian luxury car maker Russo-Baltique.

They are said to have created the vodka to commemorate the centenary of the company's factory.
