Queen of Soca, Alison Hinds has a lot up her sleeve for the end of 2019 and 2020.

“Its all busy,” smiles the down-to-earth workaholic who has been ruling the Caribbean sound waves for decades.

Hinds just left Pirates Week in the Cayman Islands where she entertained fans with fellow songstress Destra and is currently aboard the Uber soca cruise alongside the star-studded line-up of Bunji Garlin, Patrice Roberts, Kes the Band, Kerwin du Bois and many others. Soon she will head over to Nassau for a concert to raise funds for Abaco and Grand Bahama Island, and is scheduled to make a variety of other stops in the next few months, including Washington D.C., Nevis and Toronto.

Creatively, Hinds will be releasing new music for Trinidad carnival and is working on some creative projects with a team in Toronto.

“I have some special surprises up my sleeve!” she says cheekily.

What Hinds is most excited for is a massive birthday concert that will be celebrating her life and her career from May 31 to June 1 in Barbados, with a highly anticipated line-up of performances.

“Book those tickets for this one of a kind concert!” she smiles.

We can’t wait to follow the movements of this Caribbean icon who shows no signs of slowing down.
