Trinbago Knight Riders aim to become the first team to win consecutive Hero CPL titles

The Trinbago Knight Riders face the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the 2018 Hero Caribbean Premier League finals on Sunday evening at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Tarouba.

The Knight Riders beat the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots by 20 runs on Friday night, while the Amazon Warriors got past Dwayne Bravo's men earlier this week to clinch a place in the finals.

The home team are the defending champions and won the 2017 tournament at the Tarouba venue, while the Amazon Warriors have lost their three previous finals.

The Guyana Amazon Warriors lost to the Jamaica Tallawahs in 2013 and 2016, and failed to get over the line against the Barbados Tridents in 2014.

Both teams have an array of stars and match-winners abound in both franchises.

Here is a reminder of how the Knight Riders made it to the finals, with a 20-run victory over the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots on Friday...
