National Security Minister Edmund Dillon appeared to dance away the stress of public office, while on board a party boat sometime this week.

Minister Dillon uploaded a three-minute video to his Facebook page on Friday with only the caption, “Red Republic.”

The event appeared to attract a more mature audience as the entire group, including Minister Dillon, displayed their moves to Marcia Griffith’s song Electric Boogie.

Social media users cheered on the MInister with one user saying, "I love it Edmund YOLO ENJOY IT TO THE MAX." Another user, pointing to the Minister's age, said "the old man have some moves".

The song Electric Boogie, better known as the Electric Slide, was done and released as a cover in the 1980’s by Jamaican national Marcia Griffiths.

The track took nearly a decade to hit the Billboard charts.

The original song was written and recorded by  Bunny Wailer of Reggae Legend Bob Marley’s reggae group ‘the Wailers’ in 1976.

Similarly, on Republic Day, President Anthony Carmona was captured dancing following the National Award's Ceremony, to MX Prime's Full Extreme.
