Watch: NLCB spreads Christmas cheer to “Fatty” Alonzo Foundation

The Philbert “Fatty” Alonzo Foundation for children from Sangre Grande has been in existence for the last eight years. The foundation seeks to provide help to underprivileged children especially from single-parent homes.

NLCB, through the efforts of Events Manager Susan Worrell, hosted a Christmas Party to reward some 80 children associated with the foundation at the Nelson Mandela Park in Port of Spain on Friday 20 December.

Wayne Alonzo, Chairman of the foundation told Loop News that most of the children are at risk youths whom the foundation intends to treat like any other child at Christmas.

The children enjoyed a day filled with games, food, drinks and of course Santa Claus.
